Background
After consulting in business strategy for over twenty years in Southern Africa and the UK, Laurence Dann formed Gro2 Ltd as a means to assist people to start and grow businesses. At no greater time since the Industrial Revolution have we needed to make our own employment and grow our own income than we have been called on to do so today.
Since the failure rate of new and small businesses is high, Gro2 Ltd offers a means for people of any age or skills, to talk about the prospect of starting a new business or growing an existing one. A business that not only provides a healthy living over time, but one that appreciates in value that may be sold profitably one day. Growing a business is a challenge, yet hugely rewarding and great fun if approached positively and appropriately.

Ugro2 is an opportunity for all in the community to learn and grow as people, by giving to and helping others less fortunate. Members services will best be in their ‘sweat equity’ to enable disadvantaged people to start and grow their own business. Funds will be raised from grants, sponsorships and donations which coupled with Ugro2 members coaching and mentoring will faciliate the process. Members will benefit too from events, networking and shared entrepreneurial information.
